About Me
Welcome!!
Sophie is an NYC-based singer, actor, and dancer. She grew up in Westminster, Maryland, where she started taking dance classes at the age of 3. Her passion for performing in theatre began when cast as Thumbelina in "Tiny Thumbelina" at the Carroll Arts Center. She performed frequently throughout the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area in school and community theatre productions, while studying voice with Kelly Stoneberger. Sophie's first professional show was "Hairspray: In Concert With John Waters" with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She performed as a "Nicest Kid" alongside Beth Leavel and Paul Vogt. Sophie attended the Manhattan School of Music from 2018-2019 as a musical theatre major and transferred to The Institute for American Musical Theatre, where she graduated in 2022. Shortly after graduation, Sophie joined the National Tour of Annie 2022-2023 as a Swing and the Assistant Dance Captain. Since returning from Tour, she has performed at 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Don't Tell Mama NYC, The Triad Theatre, and in A Christmas Story at Surflight Theatre. In 2025, Sophie participated in new musical readings for Selda Sahin and Derek Gregor's "Modern," Carner and Gregor's "Unlock'd," and Phoebe Kreutz and Gregor's "Orchids" at the New York Theatre Barn. In April, Sophie made her Off-Broadway debut as Doria Hudson in the J2 Spotlight Musical Theatre's production of "Smile" at the AMT Theatre. She most recently performed in the SheNYC Arts Festival as Roza Steinberg in "The Garden Bridge" at Classic Stage Company. The musical won Best Production at the conclusion of the Festival.
When not performing, auditioning, creating, or working her side job, you can find her spending time with her dog Tootsie and her partner Clark, going on spontaneous adventures around NYC, or learning everything she can about a new hyper-fixation.
